Custom Fabrication Project | Amazon Banana Truck

Working with Wood & Locks we fabricated a fully functioning “Banana Express” food truck for Amazon’s new head quarters. We started by stripping down a 1947 Ford Railway Express and retrofitting a custom cab to the back of the truck. On the roof we installed a solar panel which feeds into a battery wall located behind the drivers’ seat. In addition we installed a functioning sink complete with gray water disposal containers, a functioning vendor door that folds into the cab when not in use, and a slider tray for serving bananas.
