Custom Art Deco Neon Signage - Carytown

Carytown is a mile-long stretch of mostly local shops and boutiques in Richmond. Over time, the original sign—a post-and-panel plywood structure—had become waterlogged and deteriorated. The Carytown Merchant’s Association approached us to create a new neon sign that matches the Art Deco aesthetic found throughout the mile long strip. Using Carytown’s logo we began designing the new custom sign to feature vintage style channel letters, brass accents, and 12mm glass tube neon. The upper and lower text is routed acrylic with brass coated top surfaces, allowing light to pass through the returns for a striking effect. Using engineered plans, we fitted the new monument sign with eyelets and secured it with stainless steel wire rope.
