OUR STORY
Wellcraft MFG was founded by Jesse Isenberg, a craftsman with a deep passion for traditional sign-making. Early in his career, while working at local sign shops, Jesse had the privilege of learning from seasoned veterans of the trade. Immersed in the art of hand painting and gilding, he quickly became hooked, absorbing as much as he could from the skilled craftsmen who mentored him.
As the industry shifted toward speed and efficiency, signs became more templated and generic, often sacrificing good design and craftsmanship. Determined to preserve the artistry of the trade, Jesse founded his new company in 2009 after losing his job during the recession. Drawing on his early skills, he embedded himself in a network of designers and artisans, collaborating to create signage and graphics with a more handcrafted, artisan approach.
