Our Process
Clients typically enter our process in one of two ways:
– At the Introduction + Orientation, when the scope and design are still being defined or you have a conceptual design but no idea where to go from there.
– At the Quote/Bid stage, with a fully developed, bid-ready package in hand. If you're coming to us with detailed drawings, specifications, and a clear scope of work, we jump directly into estimating and logistics. We’ll provide a detailed quote and flag any potential challenges in fabrication or installation so they can be addressed before production begins.
Because every project is unique, we’ve developed a general roadmap that reflects how most typically unfold, but please keeping in mind that each one may vary based on its specific requirements
Introduction + Orientation (Client Entry Point)
We meet with you to review your goals, timeline, and budget. We’ll get to know each other and walk you through our workflow, capabilities, and offerings. We also provide consulting support—offering guidance on materials, finishes, production methods, and fabrication feasibility—all as part of our standard service.
Design (Optional)
We offer design services for clients who have a vision but lack a finished design. For these projects, we can provide a separate design contract. For clients requiring more extensive design work, such as comprehensive wayfinding systems, we’ll collaborate with one of our design partners to develop a design package that works for you.
Production Quote + Bid Estimate (Client Entry Point)
This is where we break down the cost of your project based on time, materials, fabrication methods, and installation.
At this stage, we’ll review your drawings, specifications, and design details to make sure the estimate aligns with both your design intent and your budget. If anything stands out as a potential fabrication or installation challenge, we’ll flag it and offer alternatives and solutions in order to avoid delays.
Our quoting process is transparent. We don’t just pricing a job and send it out—we think through how to build it in the most efficient and durable way possible. We encourage you to ask as many questions as you need to about a project’s estimate.
Fabrication
Once your quote is approved the project moves into the fabrication stage. This is where you sit back and relax while we whip up all your fun creations. You’ll be assigned a dedicated project manager who will serve as your main point of contact through the remainder of the process. If any unforeseen challenges arise during fabrication, your project manager will reach out to discuss solutions and keep things moving forward.
Installation + Walkthrough
Once fabrication is complete, your project manager will reach out to schedule an installation date with our install team. If you're working with a general contractor, we’ll coordinate directly with them to handle all communication and scheduling—keeping you informed every step of the way.
Whether we’re installing the project ourselves or providing guidance for a third-party team, we keep the process as smooth and efficient as possible. After installation, we do a final review to confirm everything meets our quality standards and also your expectations.
